Any queries regarding Team entries for the Scottish Relay Champs please contact Rachel using the form below or by email to flump@care4free.net up until midnight Thursday 31st May. Any late amendments/entries after that will have to be made at the Relay Registration desk at the Scottish Individual Champs or on the day of the relays themselves.

Please download and complete a copy of the Team Declaration form for each of your teams and return them to flump@care4free.net as soon as you can – although we do appreciate there’s always a lot of unknowns involved in relay teams up until the last minute,  we’re trying to keep entries streamlined to avoid long queues Saturday afternoon.
NB If you’ve already declared your team runners, BOF numbers, etc via OEntries and nothing has changed then you need do nothing more than tell us of any last minute changes as soon as known up until midnight on 31st or when you collect the team bibs on Saturday/Sunday.

Relay Registration
Relay Registration will be open from 15:00 – 18:00 on Saturday afternoon at the Individuals and from 9:30 on Sunday for collection of bibs, amendments to Team Declarations and registration of new teams subject to map availability.

General Relay info
Details of Relay handover layout, map collection, call up procedure and any special information will be contained in the same envelopes containing your relay bibs which can be collected from 15:00 on Saturday at the Individuals or from 09:30 on Sunday at the Relays.

Junior classes 7 & 8        Mass Start 11:00
Leg 1 map and brikke collection by 10:50. Once in the holding pen please follow the marshal’s instructions.

Classes 1 to 6                  Mass Start 11:10
Leg 1 map and brikke collection by 10:50 too as there will be some 140 runners in this start (!) and this allows parents to chaperone Junior Leg 1 runners through map collection and cheer them on before their own start. Once in the holding pen please follow the marshal’s instructions.

Brikkes will be provided for everyone who needs one but you’re also welcome to use your own.

Note to organisers for future Summer Series events – control 101 sadly got vandalised beyond repair. First time we’ve experienced this problem at Countesswells and hopefully it’s a one off.

Parking/registration is at the Bridge of Bogendriep on B974 (turn right after the bridge) Map The event will be signposted from Strachan.

There are two starts in opposite directions from the carpark (so make sure you know which Start is yours!) but all courses have the same Finish. All Starts and Finish can be accessed from registration without crossing or walking along the road.

Frances Wright will be raising money for her summer tours by tempting us with tea, coffee, juice, Wilf’s veggie chilli with optional pitta and/or chees, soup, hotdogs and cakes. Dig deep (but leave something for me as I do tend to take a long time to finish!)

Early Email Entry Explained: If you think that you are probably coming to the event, and have a fair idea of which course you would like to run, please would you use the EEE form by noon on Saturday 26^th May telling us your name(s) and course(s). This helps ease the data entry process as we can get ahead of the game before Sunday morning. Ta!

For those who send in an early email entry, you just come to registration at the event, pay for your run and pick up a timing brikke (there is no need to complete an entry slip). A map will be reserved for you up till 12 noon on Sunday.

Please note that this is not a full pre-entry. It’s entirely on a ‘no obligation’ basis and no charge will be made if you cannot come to the event. No money is being taken in advance. This is simply a way of simplifying and speeding up the process of runner registration. If you change your mind, and decide on the morning of the event to run a different course, that’s fine. Simply fill in an entry slip for the new course, and register in the standard way. If you cannot come to the event after all, that’s absolutely fine too. There is no need to email to let us know, and no apologies or explanations are necessary! Anyone who chooses not to make an early email entry will not be disadvantaged – everyone is still welcome to register for a course in the standard way on Sunday morning.

As the pub was rammed, they let us share their table and recounted tales of 6 am starts, polystyrene bead snow flurries, ropework and scrambling, tricky navigation in places and a whole lot of fun for six and a half hours.  Well done guys!
