Cheyne Hill – 06/07/16

Well, nobody got run over and we all survived the man-eating foliage more or less in one piece. Some egos in tatters mind after getting caught out on that really steep slope that runs alongside the river and the use of sniffer dogs might have to be banned except they proved to be more of a disadvantage, diving off recklessly down the steepest bits with worried owners in tow from what I could see.

Incase you checked your splits print out against your control descriptions ….
Last week, control 234 got pinched so this week we disguised control 248 as 234 (because courses are planned and maps printed a week or so in advance [generally!]). This meant that as you went round control 234 looked OK, however all the electronic gismos, splits, routegadget etc knew it as 248. Next week at Glen Dye the technical wizards will come out to play and will re-program another control to fool all the electronic bits too!
