Events/Results, Summer Forest Sprint Series

Dunnottar Woods Forest Sprint Wednesday 26th April

The Forest Sprint circus moves on to Dunnottar Woods in Stonehaven next. Parking in the usual place at the southern corner of the woods in the crux between the A90 and the A92 Bervie road.

A bit hillier than Glen O’Dee but generally less vegetation underfoot and a very busy 1:7,500 map to contend with too. Will keep you on your toes mentally and physically.
Here are the results after 2 events – might help to focus your minds and psyche yourselves up for Wed.

One course TD3 or Orange standard, about 3km.
Registration: 18:00* to 19:10
Starts: 18:30 to 19:15
Fees: £4 Senior, £2.50 Junior/Student

*The AWPR roadworks are causing delays on the A90 from around Muchalls Bend area through to south of Stonehaven at around this time of day so allow an extra 15 – 20 minutes journey time just in case. It’s not quite so bad if approaching from the west on the Netherley road but then you’ll have to go through Stoney so it’s swings and roundabouts.
We’ll keep registration open a bit longer than normal to allow for this (but reserve the right to refuse anyone who turns up last minute and looks like they might be slow enough to cause us to miss out on our habitual Wed fish supper from the Bay 😉  )

See you there!
