10/2/18 Event Safety Workshop

MOR and INVOC are jointly offering a Event Safety Workshop:

>     Sat 10 February, Nairn Community Centre, 3-6 pm

Interested members can register with Ali Wiseman at secretary@moravianorienteering.org

If you’re organising a Level C event or above you’re supposed to have done one of these workshops although we realise that it’s not always possible to time it right so can sign things on your behalf while mentoring new organisers. Topics covered include risk assessments, first aid cover, rescue plans, planning out your event layout to avoid traffic-pedestrian clashes,  planning your volunteer rota to avoid personality clashes leading to need for First Aid…..
As well as the serious stuff there will be a chance for a blether with our neighbours from the north.
