Summer Series

2016 Summer Series Finale Templars Park, BBQ and prize giving

A “slight twist” was promised and turned out to be a retrO twist so thanks to Stuart for all his hard work checking punch patterns and calculating times and winners the hard way – far more work for him than us playing spot-the-difference copying courses from master maps.

He spoiled us though:
– a table to do the copying, rather than hunkering down on the ground under a tarpaulin in case it rained
– results within 1/2 an hour of the last finisher, rather than having to bring an SAE* to put into a bucket to get Xerox*-ed results 2 weeks later

(*Younger members will have to hit Google for these terms)

Thanks also to Helen R for being the Summer Series coordinator again, quietly and efficiently keeping us all on track, but most of all for providing Mulloch Muffins for all the planners. Mmmmmmm!

Series Winners:
Medium – Fergus Archibald (S) Sheena Farquhar (S) Patrick Lang (J) Isobel Anderson (J)
Short Tech – Gareth Yardley (S) Clare Tunaley (S) Alex Lang (J) Ailsa Anderson (J)
Long Tech – Joe aunton (S) Lesley Gomersall (S) Lachlam Kirk (J) Josie Gomersall (J)
