Events/Results, Summer Series

Glen Dye SS 9/7/14 Results

Results from last night hot off the press for you.

If you weren’t there you missed a beautiful evening, scampering up and down blaeberry studded slopes and paddling through crystal clear burns, trying to spot the next control silhouetted in the shafts of sunlight streaming between the pines. It really was idyllic – just wish we could bottle it somehow and hand out samples to all those treadmill junkies back in Aberdeen to lure them outside with us.

Thanks to Alex and his assistant, Aileen, for doing the honours with Condes/controls/clipboard and not least putting up with the flies in the car park which were the only downside to the evening.

I’ve uploaded more photos to the Flickr site as well. I must have run through a wormhole in the space-time continuum at one point as my camera suddenly went retro and produced antique looking photos all fuzzy and scratched and even with 35mm sprocket holes in some cases. Very weird!
