Well, I was fully expecting a very quiet, slow day as loads of folk were away taking advantage of the long Aberdeen weekend but we had 75 competitors in the end to save my day. Thanks to my team of helpers for making things run very smoothly – David E, Anne Hickling, Oonagh, Jayne, Helen A, David K, Lachlan and Lynne- and also to Jonathan Smith for planning his first “big” event and Andy Oliver of Maroc for his help in mentoring and road marshalling as well as controlling.

PS Apologies for the lack of printed results today – our printer is sooooo old that there’s no driver available compatible with Windows 8 that we know of so it won’t talk to our swanky new laptops.
PPS Lost property – 1 black/grey ear/head warmer. Email webmaster@grampoc.com to claim.
BOF results with ranking points
(To gain ranking points you need to have 10 Senior finishers on a TD5 course so sadly nobody gets anything for their efforts on the Green at Tyrebagger as although we had 10 finishers they were predominantly Juniors and not enough folk of any variety on the Brown. Bad luck!)
We’re working on the (JD)2C points as fast as we can (to try and beat the email we always get from a certain very competitive pair in Maroc asking when the points will be posted. Never seem to manage it but we can try.)
