Countesswells 01/06/16 – Results

Another lovely evening for running about in the woods, although it got surprisingly chilly by the end. A few boulder controls catching people out – remember to find a good attack point for the trickier controls such as these (and choose the fastest route to the attack point). If only I practiced what I just preached!

Next week we head out to Scolty near Banchory. May be a chance to sneak some points from those still recovering from the Highlander Mountain Marathon this weekend?

  • Scottish Team Selections for the 2017 VHI
    This takes place at Aviemore on 23rd/24th September this year. Congratulations to the following people, who have been selected for the Scottish team. All those who have been selected should already have heard from me but if not please get in touch as it means I do not have a correct e-mail address for you.
  • Jamie Stevenson Trophy 2017
    Congratulations to the MAROC juniors who retained the Jamie Stevenson Trophy after hard fought competition near Perth. Full results including Routegadget and Winsplits are here.
  • Grants for Scottish athletes at WOC
    Scottish Orienteering are delighted to announce that the four Scottish athletes representing Great Britain at this year’s World Championships in Estonia will each receive a grant of £200.
