Hope you all enjoyed this evening’s courses, including the ‘no-paths’ map challenge. Particularly well done to those of you who are less familiar with the woods too. Thanks Anne for great courses and cakes!
I know some of you are anxiously awaiting the latest update on the overall league – it will be coming, but a few updates of last week’s results also needed.
Hope you all enjoyed a rather damp Foggieton and found the extra challenge of a path-free map a worthwhile exercise. Those who have been the Foggieton many times probably had a bit of an advantage. The undergrowth had taken off in the last few weeks meaning a fair amount of gardening was needed around some control sites. Foggieton is probably better used earlier in the summer season.
Thanks to Rob for checking the sites for me a few weeks ago when I was temporarily laid up and helping to put the controls out yesterday; and to Rob, Chris and Margaret for helping with bringing them in afterwards.
Hope you all enjoyed the cakes too and thanks for your donations. That’s another £33 towards my WaterAid fundraising target.
