Twas a beautiful night, not a cloud in the sky, with a full moon and a great view of the planet Venus and the stars. (Not that the moonlight helped me much!). We had to take care not to drop our map in the windy spots, or it would have been quite a chase over the dunes to catch it.

Thanks to planners Ali Robertson and Adrian Will for their fiendish courses, to Adrian for hanging the controls. And thanks as always to Teresa for making the longish trip with the chilimobile – which was much appreciated by their customers.
