Johnshaven SOUL

Always thought Johnshaven would make a good place for a SOUL and Maroc proved me right today with Nick Hale exploiting the best bits to full advantage. David Esson was keeping his powder dry for his Birsemore Black Binge tomorrow but wandered around watching the entertainment and took some photos of various Gramps (and 2 ex-Gramps) in action…..

I particularly like the one of Iain with the creels next to the wheelie bins. It’s urban, Jim, but not as many people know it.

  1. Brilliant area for an urban event. Absolutely loved it, thanks to Maroc volunteers and Lathallan School.

  2. The social members of Gramp had prime position for viewing from the cafe – no veggie soup so had to settle for 100% cake lunch – highly recommend 🤣

UPCOMING EVENTS (click series or event names for details link)

We’re slowly starting up again but at the moment it’s club members only (to aid contact tracing should the need arise and keep numbers attending events to a minimum.) We’ll send emails to members for individual events as they come up as arrangements may change. See our Covid 19 page for more info.

You can join the Mobile O revolution though and download the MapRun app and have a go at some local courses using your phone to time yourself and even navigate with. Visit our MapRun page for instructions and a list of maps.
