We don’t have any formal organised events during the summer holiday season so make sure you put a reminder in your diaries for the start of the traditional autumn Urban Sprint Series at Westburn and Victoria Parks on Wed 26th Aug, followed by four more events around Aberdeen including the RGU and Aberdeen Uni campuses.
We are going to rekindle the competitive element to this series, awarding points based on your result at each event and best 3 out of 5 results count towards your overall score. Urban races have a different age category system and we will be using that and awarding much-coveted Lego trophies for each category.
In the meantime, members should have received info via Spond/email about a cunning plan to keep your orienteering skills ticking over by using some of our Maprun courses.
