Urban Sprints start Wed 26th Aug

How well do you know the back alleys around Aberdeen Old Town? Or the nooks and crannies of Duthie Park? Fancy a nose around the RGU Garthdee Campus on a new map?

Come and join us for the next five Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 8pm at various venues for our Urban Sprint Series, starting at Westburn Park Wed 26th.
Sprint is just the name for a style of orienteering with lots of twists and turns and changes of direction on lavishly detailed maps, all designed to keep you concentrating hard right to the end. But if sprinting is your thing then go for it!

Check our Events page for the full list of dates and venues.
Everyone welcome, you can go as a group or individually, the only thing to note is that for insurance purposes under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult on any courses that involve public roads.

Please also check this guide to Sprint map symbols, especially the “Out of Bounds” or “Uncrossable” aka “Do Not Cross” as we don’t want to stray onto private property. Thanks!

And as a final incentive for you to come and have a go, we’re reinstating the Urban Sprint League this year with a chance to win one of our much-coveted trophies. You know you want one!
